Veeam Quality Assurance team invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office.

Your tasks will include: 

  • Oversee and carry out performance/load testing for Veeam Backup as a Software platform, including analyzing and discussing requirements, planning and running tests, analyzing test results 
  • Identify performance problems and bottlenecks in a platform, work closely with QA engineers, developers, product managers, DevOps engineers, and other parties to eliminate them 
  • Design develop and enhance test frameworks and bring in innovative testing approaches 

What we expect from you: 

  • At least 2 years of experience in performance/load testing/automation 
  • Experience with load testing tools, such as Locust, JMeter 
  • Strong experience in any programming/script languages, such as Python, Java, or PowerShell  
  • Good knowledge of hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-v) or AWS/Microsoft Azure public clouds, experience with containers 
  • Strong experience with any observability stack (Grafana, Elastic, DataDog, DynoTrace) 
  • CI/CD experience, including working with pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, or TeamCity 
  • The ability to analyze test results and identify the essential points: performance issues, bottlenecks, limit boundaries 
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux is a plus) and main components, including services, processes, files, and networking  
  • A lively and flexible mind, clear logic, self-sufficiency and the willingness to dive into tasks with minimal supervision as fast as possible
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams

Will be an advantage: 

  • Good knowledge of automation framework such as PyTest 
  • Experience in building and automating testing tools and frameworks 
  • DevOps experience (Terraform, Ansible) 
  • Database management skills, especially Postgres. Configuring, profiling, and analyzing performance issues 
  • Proficiency in application profiling (CPU traces, memory diagnostics)
