About the Role:
Veeam is looking for a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives across EMEA, with a focus on security awareness, instructional design, and communications. In this role, you will play a key part in building a strong security culture by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that improve security awareness and positively influence human behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead security awareness and training programs aligned with GRC objectives.
- Design instructional materials and curricula to communicate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and develop targeted learning solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including policies, procedures, and guides.
- Assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and refine programs based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Lead internal communications to promote security awareness and compliance initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure training remains relevant.
- Report on training and awareness initiatives to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in GRC, instructional design, technical writing, or related field with a focus on security awareness.
- Proven experience developing and delivering impactful training programs.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP) are a plus.
